Welcome
Welcome to the Parish of Effingham and Fetcham. The parish also encompasses East and West Horsley and Ockham together with Great and Little Bookham, all basking in the shade of the North Downs of Surrey. We aspire to be outward looking and to encourage our parishioners to have a personal relationship with Our Lord Jesus and our neighbours.
Please feel free to come and introduce yourself. You will be warmly welcomed.
With every blessing,
Father Stephen

Coronavirus Situation Update (7 Jan 2021)
Under current Government regulations churches can thankfully still
remain open for communal worship. However, to ensure adequate
stewarding at all of our Masses, we will need to reduce the number of
weekday Masses open for public attendance. Therefore, on Mondays,
Thursdays and Fridays Mass will only be available via the live-stream.
All other Masses at present remain open for attendance. See our Mass
Times page for the full schedule.
We continue to observe Diocesan and Government regulations, in
particular in regard to the distancing of seating, sanitisation, Test and
Trace, the manner of receiving Holy Communion, and refraining from
communal singing.
We ask you please to continue to remember social distancing (especially
as you arrive and leave and come up for Communion), hand sanitising
and face coverings (which are legally required in church unless you have
an exemption). Also, please remember that no social interaction indoors
or outdoors is allowed outside your household or social bubble.

In this difficult and worrying time, when all of our lives have been significantly affected by the coronavirus, we remain a faith-filled, worshipping and caring community. It’s vital that we keep contact with one another by phone and other electronic means; a supportive conversation can make all the difference. Do please remember those you know who may not have access to the internet. We also undertake to pray for one another frequently, especially those who are suffering most, and for medical staff and other front-line workers.
Some helpful resources for this time can be found on the Resources page of this website.
If you would like to talk to someone or pray with someone about the current coronavirus situation, or if you need help, do please contact us.
